Older electrical services were often designed for much smaller electrical loads than homes and businesses require today. Blue Sky Electric provides service upgrades when additional capacity is needed for remodels, air-conditioning systems, electric vehicle chargers, pools, spas, saunas, workshops, appliances, additions, or other new equipment.

Evaluating what your property actually needs

Before recommending an upgrade, we evaluate the existing meter, panel, service conductors, grounding system, available breaker space, and calculated electrical demand.

When limited modifications are enough

In some cases, an existing system may safely support the new equipment with limited modifications. In other situations, the meter, panel, feeder wiring, or entire electrical service may need to be increased to a larger amperage.
